Tour De Munster Cycle Fundraiser Down Syndrome Clare's annual Tour De Munster cycle fundraiser was another huge success thanks to the wonderful people who helped and supported it over the weekend. A very special mention to some fantastic young musicians who entertained the cyclists and crowds at O’Connell Square in Ennis on the day. The support of all who contributed to the fundraiser is hugely appreciated, as these monies will be used throughout the year for various activities for children with Downs Syndrome such as speech therapy, horse riding classes, home tutoring, mother and toddler group, music therapy and informative talks for parents.

The Class of 2020

We have been together for eight years

Sharing our hopes, dreams and fears.

But in March, we were sent home to stay,

Learning online was our new school day.

We made rainbow pictures and went out to cheer,

The key workers protecting those we hold dear.

What should have been a time of celebration,

Became a time of worry and isolation.

But what we have learnt in a time like this,

Is what’s truly important and the friends we miss.

It has not been the final year we had hoped But we’re amazed at your strength, and the way you have coped.

Hold on to the memories that we have shared Remembering friends and those who cared.

The class of 2020 will hold a place in our heart, For the courage you have shown from the very start.

You have carried on regardless during this period of change, And continued on when things were strange.

You’re moving on to somewhere new, Filled with the confidence you need to see you through.

From all at your school, we wish you the best, Smiles and hard work will be the key to your success.

God bless all our 6th class students, who have received the Sacrament of Confirmation and will now move on to the next level of their education. They will never forget the Class of 2020.

Farewell — Fr. Seamus Nohilly  We extend our sincere “Thank You” to Fr. Seamus for his dedication, his gentle presence, and his listening ear to all the parishioners of Imeall Boirne. We are grateful for the gifts you have brought to our parishes, for blessing our marriages, baptising our children and for
supporting us in our bereavements. For our part, we pray that we will always be attentive to the needs of our priests and never take you for granted. For you, like us, need friendship, love, a sense of belonging, kind words and acts of thoughtfulness. Fr. Seamus, may God continue to Bless you and grant you the faithfulness, strength and health you need to serve the Lord with gladness, and with a joyful and generous heart.
Míle Buíochas !
