Treasurer of Clare branch, local lady, Laura Cahir, with the Committee members and supporters will be ‘bucket shaking’ in Ennis on Friday, August 9. Should anyone be interested in helping for an hour on that day, they might contact Laura @ 0872901892.

It's an extra 4 days of hurling and camogie in a fun environment for our young players and they'll learn a lot from all our excellent coaches.

Thanks to the coaches, club officers and organising committee for making it possible.

A ‘public place’, is defined as ‘any place to which the public have access whether as of by right or by permission and whether subject to or free of charge’ but does not include a Church or building used for public worship or the grounds of a Church or of such building.

Please Note the Following *No aspect of such collections can take place on Church grounds.   **Collection points must be at least 10 meters from the entrance to the Church grounds.   ***No posters or advertising material can be placed on any part of parish property, including on gates, poles or walls.    ****People have a right to attend Mass unhindered. Those coming to Mass must be allowed to pass freely. They must, in no way, be made feel obligated by any action or word of collectors to support a particular collection.   *****Collectors must ensure that the safety and dignity of motorists and pedestrians is paramount when making arrangements for a so-called “church-gate collection”
