Baptisms in the Imeall Boirne Parishes: 

All Baptisms take place each Sunday of the Month at 12:30pm rotating between all nine churches.

Parish Pastoral Council Meeting in Ruan Community Centre on Mon 26th Aug at 8:00pm


The annual Young Adult Catholic Conference takes place in All Hallows College, Dublin on Sat Aug 31st and Sun Sep 1st . 

This is a fantastic weekend packed full of interesting events for young Catholics. Prices range from €25-€50, accommodation also available.

The Tour de Munster rolled into Ennis on Friday Aug. 9 led by local cyclist, Conrad McCullough. The work of the cyclists, musicians, bucket shakers and all who contributed on the day is hugely appreciated as monies raised in Clare stays in Clare and will ensure services will be available to children with Down Syndrome.


Toonagh Hall: Mike Gardiner and his Band with Noreen Ferns will play in Toonagh Hall on Sat. Aug. 31 from 9.30pm. Tickets €10. This is a fundraiser for the Hall and your support is much appreciated. 


Set Dancing Classes: John Fennell Dance School will start set dancing classes for children in Toonagh Hall at 3.30pm on Wednesdays during school term. Details from Pamela @0876224698.

Ruan Hurling & Camogie Club Summer Camp starts on Mon Aug 19th until Thur Aug 22nd from 10am to 2pm daily. The camp is for Primary School children and promises to be a great week of fun, hurling, camogie and a great way to finish off the summer holidays. For parents who have not yet registered, they can do so on the morning of August 19, the registration fee is €30 per child. 

Club members please feel free to call to the field this week to show your support for our young hurlers.
