Community Games.
Aoife Anderson an Neasa Ni Ainifein are members of the Clare Mixed Distance relay team which will compete in Athlone in the Community Games Finals this coming week-end.  Sarah Cantillon competes in swimming in the finals on Sunday.

On the Road Again.
Local athlete, Conrad McCullough from Dysart is a 23 year old who doesn't let the grass grow under his feet. Not alone has he represented his country in Gymnastics in Rome at the World Championships, but he has medals from competing in swimming and many gymnastic competitions here at home.
A few years ago he joined the Burren Cycling Club, of which his mother and father, Breda and Brendan, are also members, and he has cycled the Ring of Kerry for the ninth year last June. On Friday last, Conrad joined the Tour de Munster charity, cycling on the route between Killaloe and Kilrush in the company of cycling legend, Sean Kelly and 120 cyclists, cycling for Down Syndrome.
He was supported by three members of The Burren Cycling Club and is an inspiration  - particularly to families who have children with Down Syndrome, showing them that with the right support this condition need not limit them.
