Bambinelli Sunday 13th December. “A Beautiful Advent Tradition”. On this Saturday and Sunday we invite you to bring the Baby Jesus from your home crib to the masses in the Imeall Boirne Parishes if you are able to attend, or alternatively, you can hold them in your hand while watching the Masses on our Facebook Page as they will be blessed by Fr. Damien and Fr. Pat .

When we pray at our family crib this Christmas, may we be thankful for the gift of each other. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen

Advent Trees in the Parish During the season of Advent, as we prepare ourselves to welcome the Baby Jesus into our hearts and our homes, an Advent tree will be in place in St. Tola’s Church, Dysart and in St. Mary’s, Ruan. Cards, on which names of people who will not be with us this Christmas (those who are no longer with us or those who are unable to come home due to Covid-19 restrictions and all those we miss) will be taken from the basket and hung from the tree. These will be removed and will form part of the Offertory Procession in a mass over Christmas

The Ruan Hurling Club  extends its sympathy to the following families on their recent bereavement: Kenny Family, Casey Family, Cassidy Family, Foley Family, McGrath Family, Dysart. McGuane Family, Dysart. Lynch Family, Crusheen. James O Connor, Clarecastle
