BUÍOCHAS The Imeall Boirne team extend sincere thanks for your kindness and support throughout this very challenging year. It can be said that we will never forget 2020 and we hope that 2021 will bring us all a safe normality in our daily lives. Christmas is one of the times of the year when we can acknowledge the goodness and generosity of our Parishioners. We are blessed to have such an extraordinary number of people who are actively involved in the life of our Parishes, who go above and beyond the call of duty.

Our thanks to all who help in a special way with the Sunday Liturgy, and to all involved in the maintenance of our Churches, those who sanitize our churches after each Mass, Funeral, Weddings etc...the caretakers, grass cutters, cleaners and the people who enhance our Churches with floral displays during the year and the many people who voluntarily help in making our Parishes an alive and welcoming community.

To our Sacristans' in Corofin, Kilnaboy, Rath, Ruan, Dysart, Crusheen, Ballinruan, Boston and Tubber.

To all who collect and distribute weekly Newsletters. We acknowledge the work of the Parish Pastoral Council in each parish, Parish Representatives, and all who help in the smooth running of all our parishes. We are conscious also of the contribution our Teachers make in the handing on of our Faith and all who serve on the Boards of Management of our Primary Schools.

Finally a special thanks to Anne our Imeall Boirne Pastoral Secretary and Facebook Administrator who keeps it all running smoothly.

Míle Buíochas, Nollaig Shona agus Athbhliain.   Fr. Damien & Fr. Pat.

Advent Trees in the Parish During the season of Advent, as we prepare ourselves to welcome the Baby Jesus into our hearts and our homes, an Advent tree will be in place in St. Tola’s Church, Dysart and in St. Mary’s, Ruan. Cards, on which names of people who will not be with us this Christmas (those who are no longer with us or those who are unable to come home due to Covid-19 restrictions and all those we miss) will be taken from the basket and hung from the tree. These will be removed and will form part of the Offertory Procession in a mass over Christmas
