Christmas is one of the times of the year when we can acknowledge the goodness and generosity of our Parishioners. The Imeall Boirne team say a sincere word of thanks for your kindness, support and encouragement throughout the year. We are blessed to have such an extraordinary number of people who are actively
involved in the life of our Parishes, who go above and beyond the call of duty. Our thanks to all who help in a special way with the Sunday Liturgy, Readers, Eucharistic Ministers and Altar Servers Choirs and Musicians. To all involved in the decoration of our Churches, and the people who enhance our Churches with floral displays during the year. To the various people who take responsibility for the church sacristy in Corofin, Kilnaboy, Rath, Ruan, Dysart, Crusheen, Ballinruan, Boston and Tubber . We acknowledge the work of the Parish Pastoral Council in each parish, Parish Representatives, Basket Collectors, Counters, the organisers of the Eucharistic Adoration in each parish. We are conscious also of the contribution our Teachers make in the handing on of our Faith. We thank all
who serve on the Boards of Management of our Primary Schools. A special thanks to our Imeall Boirne Office Secretary Anne and all the administration,
caretakers, cleaners and the many people who voluntarily help in making our Parishes such an alive and welcoming community. Míle Buíochas.

Thought for the Week

moment that we are blessed to
recognize you here and now, give
us the courage to leap with joy at
your coming. Amen

Towards Peace
Christmas and New Year is often a time when we are reminded of our deeper selves and deepest hopes, and deepest pain. The vision of Towards Peace is to provide a safe supportive space for people who have been affected by abuse in a Church context, and who are seeking to explore the spiritual impact of the abuse. If you have been abused and would like a space to reflect on the impact of the trauma of abuse on your own relationship with God and Spirituality, Towards Peace is here for you on / 01 505 3028. There are some leaflets available in all the parish churches today with further information.

Advent Tree
Don’t forget the Advent Tree in Dysart Church and remember to write the name of someone we will keep in our thoughts and prayers at this time or your own
special intentions and hang it on the Advent Tree. These will be removed at Christmas Eve Mass and form part of the Offertory Procession.
