Ruan Tidy Village: We are having all the clothes collected on Monday next, 21/01/2013. If you have any clothes, curtains, bed linen, shoes or even old mobile phones you can drop them off at Ruan Community Hall or Toonagh Community Hall on Monday. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Irish Heart Foundation  Heartsaver AED Defibrillation Course on Saturday 26th January from 12 noon to 5.00 pm.  This course covers CPR to adult, child and Infant and also Choking and Medical Emergencies of Adult, Child and Infant. Craft classes: The crochet, knitting and embroidery classes return to Toonagh Hall on Wed 30th Jan at 7.30 pm and continue through the Spring,  €5 per night.  Anyone interested in picking up any of these crafts, or expanding the knowledge they have of them, is invited to the hall, where those with experience will pass on their tips and help those willing to try their hand at any of those crafts. RUAN GAA NEWS:   

Ruan Minor Hurling Club AGM is on this Tuesday Night January 22 at 8.00 pm in Ruan Community Centre. Parents, adult players and anyone from the parish interested in the promotion of underage hurling are asked to attend this very important meeting where we will plan for 2013.        

Ruan Underage Medal Presentation Night is on Saturday Jan 26th at 7pm in Corofin GAA Hall. Our Under 14 double winning hurling team of 2012 will be honoured along with the Corofin Under 14 football team. Special Guests will be Clare Under 21 Hurling All Ireland winner Killian Ryan and Clare Minor Football Captain Jamie Malone. Refreshments will be served.
