Please Note: When there is a Funeral Mass in the parish, there will not be any 9:30 am Mass in either Ruan or Dysart.

                                                    Dysart: Thursdays - Hourly from 10am to 1pm

Next Baptism Course: Tubber on Saturday 13th February from 11:00 am to 12 Noon.

All people intending to have children baptised must complete the baptismal course before each child is baptised. 

Imeall Bóirne Cluster Meeting in Corofin on Wednesday 27th January at 8:00 pm 

Tea/Coffee Morning continues every Tuesday Morning in Ruan Community Centre at 10:00 am. All are welcome.

Fitness 4 Fun with John Conroy for both men and women has resumed in Ruan Community Centre on Wednesdays from 1:15pm to 2:15pm. Cost €5. John who is the founder of Fitness4Fun is an experienced and qualified fitness coach for older adult fitness. Exercise can reduce the risk of developing some age-related diseases and disabilities. People with arthritis, heart disease or diabetes benefit from regular physical activity and exercise can also help people with blood pressure, balance problems or difficulty walking. All are welcome to come.

Readers and Eucharistic Ministers: We would welcome and encourage more people, both young and older, to have an active part in the celebration of the Eucharist as readers or Eucharist Ministers. New lists of Readers and Eucharistic Ministers for 2016 are being compiled and if you would like to be added to the list please give your name to either Mary O’Donnell 087 9776583 or Rosemary Foudy 0870610212 or to Fr Pat O’Neill - 086 2612124.

Sacristan Retires: Pat Morris has retired as Sacristan of Dysart Church and we would like to thank him for his many years of service to the parish and wish him well in the future.
If anyone is interested in taking on the task of Sacristan please contact Fr. Pat. 

 Mass Card Donations: All Money received for Mass Card Donations is divided between the Foreign Missions and Faith Development in the Parish. Please use the Mass Donation envelope provided and place it in the collection basket. 

Vocation to Diocesan Priesthood: A Vocations Workshop is being organised for the Munster Dioceses inviting any person interested in being a diocesan priest to experience a time of reflection and discernment. The workshop is on February 5th-6th 2016 in Thurles and further details available from Fr. Ignatius McCormack, Killaloe Diocesan Vocations Director at 086 2777139 

Clothes collection for Toonagh School: Now that people are back to routine after the holidays, they may be organising the wardrobes in readiness for Spring. Toonagh School is holding a clothes collection on 11th Feb and would welcome donations of clean, used clothing, bed linen, towels, curtains, belts, bags and shoes. Monies raised will be used for new classroom supplies 

Clare Parkinson’s Support Group: You are invited to join the Clare Parkinson’s Support Group at Carrigoran Health & Wellness Centre, Newmarket-on-Fergus at 10.00 am on the last Friday of each month. The aim of this Support Group is to meet unmet needs for social support and be an additional source of help and information for people with Parkinson’s, their families and carers. Meetings which are informal provide a chance to talk and discuss worries and experiences and may include a presentation by an invited speaker, such as a healthcare professional or complementary therapist.

The Clare Parkinson’s Support Group also arrange various activities that assist people living with Parkinson's such as Yoga, Dance and Tai Chi classes, outings and information meetings. There is a social aspect to each meeting including mid-morning tea/coffee with freshly baked homemade scones! The next Parkinson’s Support Group meeting is on Friday 29th January.
