Magic of the Silver Screen in association with Ruan Community Playgroup presents the Premiere of Chocolate Wars at Ruan Community Hall on 03/02/2012.  Doors open at 7.00 pm.  Admission is €2.50, without invitation.  All children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.

 

Clare Cancer Support: A Mass of healing and blessing on Saturday 4th February 2012 is being held in Quilty Church to commemorate world cancer Day at 1.00pm.  We welcome all people affected by cancer along with their family and friends.  Please join us in prayer, reflection and song.

 

Ruan Tidy Towns Fundraiser Old Clothes Collection:  Collection is ongoing, up to and including 31st January 2012.  The collection point is at Ruan Community Centre and bags of old worn clothing, footwear, bed linen and also old or broken mobile phones may be dropped here between 8.30am and 3.30pm Monday to Friday.  Clothing may be worn or torn but must be clean.  Your support would be greatly appreciated and will help fund projects in our parish.

Camogie News:

Ruan Camogie Club wish to acknowledge the great generosity and kindness afforded to them during the “Hunting of the Wren” on St Stephen’s Day, it was very much appreciated and we are hoping to revive and continue this great custom next year.
