 Primary School Game
Congratulations to Niamh Glass and Frankie Lyons 6th class pupils in Ruan National School who lined out for Clare on Sunday last in the Primary School Game at Semple Stadium Thurles.


Parish Defibrillator’s :-Anyone interested in being part of the Community Response are invited to attend an information meeting facilitated by Mr. Mark Callahan, Community Engagement Officer with The National Ambulance service on the 19th July at 7:30 pm in Ruan Community Centre. 

This talk will take approximately 30 minutes and it is hoped it will provide us with the information and support required on how to set up this group and facilitate it's running for the future.

Ruan Scouts:- Having had a very successful first year, Ruan Scouts will be opening three sections in September 2018 - Beaver Scouts, aged 6 to 8,

Club Scouts, aged 9 to 12 and Scouts, aged 12 to 15. The groups generally meet on Thursday evenings in a venue in Ruan Village. 
Anyone interested in volunteering or if you have a child who would like to try out all kinds of new and fun activities should call or text

Ruan and Dysart Resource Group Our local Community Employment Scheme has an opening for an office administrator. Working 19.5 hours per week on a rota that can be altered to suit individual’s needs. A knowledge of computers is necessary and further training will be provided. You must be on a form of social welfare payment to be eligible to begin.
