World Meeting of Families Dublin 2018 On Friday August 24th at the World Meeting of Families Congress, the Munster Province (which includes

Killaloe diocese) are invited to form a combined provincial choir to sing at 2 major liturgies (9am Morning Prayer in the Simmons court RDS, and 4pm
Eucharist in the RDS Arena). If your choir would like to participate please contact Mr Derek Mahady directly at Music@worldmeeting2018.ie. Choirs

are encouraged to participate on this day focused on the theme of HOPE!urling/Camogie Camp.

Hurling/Camogie Camp.
Ruan Hurling Club is hosting a Summer Camp in the Hurling field from Monday, Aug. 20 to Thursday, Aug. 23 from 10am to 2pm each day, with
a Family Fun Day on the Thursday. To date, 91 children have registered. Children may still register and, also register on the first morning of the

Imeall Boirne Mass Schedule
The new schedule for Masses in the Cluster will come into effect from September 1st and will be reviewed after a six month period.
We have included the new schedule of Masses with this weekends Newsletter and also placed the new schedule on each church noticeboard.


Baptisms in the Imeall Boirne Parishes: Next Baptism Preparation Meeting will take place in Ruan on 11th August from 11 am to 12 noon.

All Baptisms take place each Sunday of the Month at 12:30pm rotating between all nine churches.

August: Ballinraun 5th—Dysart 12th. - Kinaboy 19th—Boston 26th

People intending to have children baptised must complete the baptismal preparation course before each child is baptised. All forms for the above are

Dysart / Toonagh Group Water Scheme. On the recommendation of Clare County Council we have to implement a hose-pipe
ban with immediate effect until Tuesday 31st July. This recommendation is in line with the National Water Conservation Order.

Youth 2000 Summer Festival This years Festival takes place in Cistercian College, Roscrea from Thursday 16th to Sunday 19th August.
The Festival is for young people aged 16-35 and attracts over 1000 young people from all over Ireland and includes inspiring talks, workshops, dramas,
concert, prayer and much more in a chilled out setting. It promises to be a great opportunity for young people from all around Ireland to explore their faith in a chilled out setting. This is a donation only festival, just bring a pillow and a sleeping bag. Free buses to event.
