School: The Board of Management & Parents
Association of Toonagh School are embarking on a project to convert the grass
playing field at the rear of the school, which is waterlogged for many months
of the year, to an 'all weather facility' which will enable the children
to take part in physical activities throughout the school year.

National Bike Week: National Bike Week is on 11th to 19th June celebrating & promoting all that is great about cycling. Cycling is fun for people of all ages and also aids to living a healthier lifestyle. Program of events can be found onwww.bikeweek.ie
Tea/Coffee Morning continues every Tuesday Morning in Ruan Community Centre at 10:00 am. All are welcome.
Fitness 4 Fun with John Conroy for both men and women, continues in Ruan Community Centre every Wednesday from 1:15pm to 2:15pm. Cost €5. John who is the founder of Fitness4Fun is an experienced and qualified fitness coach for older adult fitness. Exercise can reduce the risk of developing some age-related diseases and disabilities. People with arthritis, heart disease or diabetes benefit from regular physical activity and exercise can also help people with blood pressure, balance problems or difficulty walking. All are welcome to come.
Ruan Camogie Club: Congratulations to the Girls on the U14 Panel who successful won the County U14C Shield Final in Newmarket on Fergus pitch on Wednesday 1st June defeating Ballyea in Final. U11`s Tulla Tournament 2016 – Congratulations to the Girls on the Panel winning Division 2 Final played in Clooney on Monday 6th June, having played Truagh/Clonlara in the Semi Final and coming out winners in the Final against Scarriff/Oggonnelloe. Sunday 12th June 2016. U12 Girls commence their 1st game of the season meeting neighbouring club Crusheen at 7 O Clock in Ruan Pitch and all support is welcome.
