Ruan National School Annual Fun Run / Walk: 315 participants took part in this event, from serious runners to families out for a walk in the fresh air. It was wonderful to see the fun and enjoyment that all participants had.  Funds raised will go towards the upgrade of the school grounds and the support of all who took part and contributed in any way is much appreciated.

 

Annual Killaloe Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock Shrine will take place on Sunday 5th July 2015, sharing with Ferns as we have in previous years.  Led by Rev. Des Hillary.   Ceremonies begin at 2:30 p.m.  For bus transport please contact: Glynns Coaches, Ennis 0656828234

 

Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes:  The Diocese has been allocated extra capacity to bring pilgrims who are sick or need assistance to Lourdes in the Diocesan pilgrimage on 26th June to 1st July. This is an ideal opportunity for people who have never had the opportunity where all your medical and caring needs will be looked after while in Lourdes.  A special price of €575 is available for this section and a medical form needs to be completed. Ruan GAA:
  Under 14 Féile: On this Friday June 19th at 8.00 am the Ruan players, mentors and supporters will depart Ruan on their journey to Co. Down for the All Ireland Féile Competition. We wish them well in what will be a most memorable weekend and hopefully they represent both Ruan and Clare very well in this prestigious competition. 
Under 8
: There was an U 8 blitz on Saturday last in Clarecastle and Ruan had a panel of 20 players. Ruan did very well in the blitz where they played matches against Newmarket, Parteen, Crusheen, Ennistymon and Clarecastle. This weekend they have an U 8 blitz in Gurteen Doora Barefield.
