BOOK LAUNCH - Transcriptions of Gravestones in Ruan Old Cemetery: In January 2012 the work of recording the inscriptions on all the headstones in the cemeteries in Ruan was begun. The reason for this was that many of the headstones are very old and the inscriptions were becoming illegible and would soon be lost. A book with photos of each headstone and its inscription has been produced and will be launched by Mayor of Clare, Joe Arkins after the 11.15 Mass on Sunday July 7th. All are welcome to join us for the launch in Ruan Community Centre where the book will be on sale and light refreshments will be served.

SENIOR CITIZENS LAHINCH HOLIDAY: The Annual Senior Citizens holiday to Lahinch will take place from the 18th to the 23rd July. Please give your names to Mary O’Donnell at 087 9776583 or Sheila Lynch at 087 6546637
