Ruan Gaa: Ruan Minor Club. Under 14 B Semi Finalists: Ruan bowed out at the semi-final stage against a very strong Eire Óg team. Ruan were the under 13 C champions last year it was a great achievement to make the step up to B this year and progress to the semi-final. Along the way Ruan defeated Kilmaley, The Banner, Wolfe Tones, drew with Crusheen/Tubber and defeated Wolfe Tones in a thrilling quarter final after extra time. This team played great hurling throughout the championship. Great credit must go to the management of the team as the players made great improvement as the championship progressed. They were a very well coached team and well done to players and management on their campaign.
