NET Ministries

Every Wednesday night the Amplified Junior (1st-3rd year) youth group will be meeting in the parish hall from 6-7:30pm.  The senior (TY-6th year) will be meeting on Fridays from 7-8:30pm.  Please come out and join us.

Youth 2000

Every Tuesday, at 7pm, there will be a Youth 2000 prayer meeting in the Crusheen parish meeting hall.  Please come out and join us for a time of prayer and tea afterwards.

International Centennial Pilgrim Image of Our Lady of Fatima:  (Blessed by Pope Francis).  Our Lady is calling you, as she is coming to Ennis Cathedral on Friday 24th March for 10 a.m.  Mass and consecration of the Diocese to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

 

Second National Collection for the World Meeting of Families 2018:  Pope Francis has personally chosen Dublin to be the host diocese for the World Meeting of Families from 21-26 August 2018.  Planning for this great national and international celebration of faith is well underway.  Hosting this important event requires an enormous amount of planning and funding. In this regard a second national collection will be held on the weekend of 1 and 2 April 2017. Your support for this collection would be greatly appreciated

 

Trócaire’s Lenten Campaign:   “Making your neighbour a loan is an act of mercy, to lend him a helping hand is to keep the commandments.” Ecclesiasticus, 29:1.  This St. Patrick’s weekend, we celebrate the solidarity Irish people have shown with the world’s poor over many decades.  Trócaire is proud to be a conduit for the compassion of people here at home which last year saw over 2.4 million people in 25 countries receiving support.  For more information on the Lenten campaign visit www.trocaire.org/lent.  


Old clothes appeal:  Ruan Tidy Towns & Graveyard Group are fundraising to buy new grass cutting equipment.  We are currently looking for bags of clean used clothes, bed linen, curtains, shoes, belts, bags (no duvets or pillows).  The hall will be open daily and bags will be gratefully accepted until Saturday 25th March.

National Spring Clean:  A litter pick of Ruan village and surrounds will be held on Wednesday evening 5th April at 7 p.m.   Young and old are welcome to play their part in keeping the village a better place to live.
