DISCUSSION ON MASS CHANGES:  At a recent Cluster Meeting of the Imeall Boirne Parishes, the changes to the Mass times were discussed in the light of the addition of a new member Fr Seamus to the team of priests serving the Cluster. It was queried if the changes in the Masses were necessary given that the team of priests has now been re-established to four priests. In the discussions which followed it was pointed out that the change was necessary, at the time, as it wasn’t clear that we would be getting someone who would become part of the team, as Fr Seamus has. The changes made will also ensure that the situation which arose last Summer, with two priests unavailable, will be avoided in the near future.  The review of Mass times will take place in the Summer, as planned and in the meantime it was decided that there would be a number of counts of people attending the various Masses to help in the decision making process.
