Boirne are held behind closed doors and
only available online at this time for our
own safety and protection. Throughout
this time of pandemic the approach of
the Church has been firmly grounded in
the protection of health and life and in
the promotion of the Common Good.
We recognise that strong restrictions are
necessary in times of grave threat to
public health. For the second year
running, we are unable to publicly
express our faith together during the
sacred time of Holy Week and Easter.
With this in mind we have prepared
a prayer booklet to help you to
celebrate Holy Week and Easter.
They are available in our churches
and we encourage you to take one
home or to drop one to an elderly
neighbour or friend.
As Easter people journeying through
life we know that God is always with us
every step of the way. That is our strong
support and encouragement that
sustains us during this current situation.
We continue to keep in prayer all who
are suffering due to Covid, and all who
contribute so much to their care.
Blessings on you and yours at this time St. John Paul II Friday next April 2nd marks the 16th anniversary of the
death of Saint Pope John Paul II (2005) May he intercede for us and guide our way back to
God, especially during this troubling time. Do not abandon yourselves to despair.
