MASS AND ANOINTING FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES AND CHRONIC ILLNESSES at Ennis Cathedral on Wednesday, 29th May at 2:00 pm. Bishop Kieran O'Reilly will be chief celebrant and homilist. All are welcome

CANCER RESEARCH FUNDRAISER. A "Mad Hatter's Tea Party" hosted by Michaela Hillary recently in her home, raised €600 in aid of  Cancer Research.                      Michaela wishes to sincerely acknowledge the support she received from her family, friends and the local community in her fundraiser, especially Zest, who provided the confectionery, free of charge.

ALZHEIMER’S TEA DAY: Alzheimer's Tea Day will be held in Toonagh Hall on Thurs. 16th May from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. As all funds raised in the county are used within Clare, your support will be greatly appreciated

Week 2- Safeguarding Children

Each child shall be cherished and affirmed as a gift from God with an inherent right to dignity of life and bodily integrity which shall be respected, nurtured and protected. Everyone in the Catholic Church has an obligation to ensure that the fundamental rights of children are respected. The Diocese of Killaloe values and encourages the participation of children and young people in parish liturgies and activities that enhance their spiritual, physical, emotional, social and intellectual development and will work in partnership way with parents at all times.

LOURDES SICK PILGRIM APPEAL: The annual collection to help support and finance sick and seriously ill pilgrims on this year’s Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes will be held next weekend at all Masses. Your generosity to this appeal will enable sick people to experience peace and blessings at the grotto of Lourdes. This year is the Centenary of the first Irish pilgrimage which took place over land in 1913. The Diocesan Pilgrimage, with direct flights from Shannon Airport, will take place from June 26th – July 1st and September 27th – October 2nd. Details are on the poster in the Church or on the Killaloe Diocesan website www.Killaloediocese.ie  Bishop Kieran O’Reilly SMA will lead this year’s Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes from June 26th to 1st July.

CROWNING OF OUR LADY. The Rosary is recited at Our Lady's Grotto in Fountain every evening at 8.30 for the month of May.  On Wed. eve. 15th May, next, the Crowning of the Statue of Our Lady will take place after the Rosary, in a special ceremony, marked with hymns to Mary. All are welcome.

ROSARY IN RUAN CHURCH: The Rosary will be recited in Ruan Church every evening for the month of May at 7:00 pm

IRISH KIDNEY ASSOCIATION INVITATION The Clare Branch of the Irish Kidney Association invite you, our Donor Families and transplant recipients to their Annual Mass of Remembrance & Thanksgiving, on Sunday 19th May at 12 noon in the Cathedral Ennis. The Mass will be celebrated in honour of those whose organs were donated thus giving the Gift of New Life to so many.
