Farewell to Principal.
Donnchadh Kelleher, Principal of Toonagh School is moving to pastures new, taking up a post in Clonlara School after the Easter holidays. His time in Toonagh School was celebrated last week, when the Board of Management and Parents Association held a celebration where the staff, children and all involved in the school all came together to say their goodbyes and wish Donnchadh well in his new position. The staff and children from Teach Spraoi pre-school also visited the school to give their good wishes, in the form of specially made cards and wildflowers.

Successful Fundraiser.
Toonagh Hall was packed to capacity on Friday night last for a Family Fun Bingo organised by Ruan Scouts, as a fundraiser. Families, with members from 5/6 years of age, played together, with the children showing a great understanding of the concept of the game and having fun in the process. The donations of prizes, home baking for the tea and all who supported the event is hugely appreciated by the organisers. €2,600 was raised for the Scouts which will be used for equipment and tents.
