Rural Resource A.G.M.
 
The A.G.M. of Rural Resource was held in Ruan Community Centre recently.    Officers elected for the coming year are:  Johnny O'Donoghue, Chairman;  Fr. Pat O'Neill, Vice Chairman;  Risteard Ui Croinin, Sec.;  Noel Tierney and Johnny O'Donoghue, Treasurers;  John Bell, P.R.O.; Mary O'Halloran, Recording Sec.   The Chairman thanked all those who worked with the organisation during the year, and particularly Morty Kelly, who retired during the year from his post as Supervisor.   He welcomed the incoming Supervisor, Senan Coughlan, and wished him well in the post.
 
   
Cake Sale.
 
Ruan Camogie Club is hosting a fundraising Cake Sale on Sun. 4th Dec. after both Masses in Dysart and Ruan.   All donations, baking and financial, will be most appreciated.

Christmas Wreaths for Ruan School.
 
Scoil Mhuire, Ruan is running its annual sale of Christmas Wreaths and Grave Wreaths to raise funds for school activities.   
Anyone wishing to place an order should contact Catherine (086 2407014) or Betty (086 2502550) as soon as possible.
     
Keep Clare Clean Competition.
 
Caoimhe Roughan, Rory O'Loughlin, Liam Moran, Eve O'Connor, Molly O'Donoghue, Jamie Cantillon, Sarah Jane O'Halloran, Ellen Barry, Anna Brown and Emma Cantillon were first and second winners in the recent "Keep Clare Clean" competition.   
They are invited to Waterpark House, Drumbiggle on this Fri. 2nd Dec. at 8.00p.m., where final adjudication will take place.
 
Underage Hurling.
 
Winter training for u6 and u8 takes place in Toonagh Hall on Mondays 6.45 - 7.45p.m.  U10 and U12 training is at Lees Road, Saturdays 11am to 12 noon.  U14 and U16 training is also at Lees Road, Wednesdays 8.00 to 9.00p.m.
