Mass in Toonagh Hall.
On this Thurs. 5th Jan, the vigil Mass for the Feast of the Epiphany will be celebrated, not in Dysart Church, as advertised, but in Toonagh Hall at 7pm.
It will be a community celebration, with refreshments served after Mass and a session of music, singing and dancing, bringing the Christmas Season to a close in the parish. On Friday, mass will be celebrated in Ruan Church at 10am.

Recent Death.
The death has taken place of Angela Normoyle, Kilmihil, sister of Pete Barry, Dysart.

Turkey Trotters.
Conditions were perfect on Sunday for the annual Turkey Trotters Hunt held in Ruan. Over seventy horses, with riders and followers, took to the fields and roads around the village, getting the year off to a great start for all those involved.
The farmers who allow the horses through their lands are to be commended and the conditions this year meant it was possible to go through the land safely and without leaving much impact.
