Delivery Service. The owners and staff of the local XL Shop, over the past three months since they came into being, must be credited with bringing much needed ‘life’ back to Ruan village and surrounding areas. They are now offering a delivery service to local vulnerable and isolating customers, so, should anyone need groceries or fuel, they may contact the shop at 0852333939 and it will be delivered, ensuring social distancing and all safety precautions are maintained. Religious Services. During this latest lockdown due to the rising numbers of those testing positive for Covid 19, Fr. Pat and Fr. Damian are playing their part in keeping religious services available to the public. Although the masses are celebrated behind closed doors, in the interest of public health, daily masses and spiritual communion is available on the Imeall Boirne Facebook page, Monday to Friday at 9.30am from Ruan Church, Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 11am from Corofin Church. Months minds, First Anniversaries and the Mass of Anniversaries will be celebrated on Saturday evenings at 8pm from St.Mary’s Church, Ruan for Ruan, Dysart, Tubber and Boston parishes, and from St. Bridget’s Church, Corofin on Sunday mornings at 11am for Corofin, Kilnaboy, Rath and also for Crusheen and Ballinruan parishes. |
