Kitchen Sessions.

The Kitchen Sessions returned to Toonagh Hall on Fri. last.  Coming up to Christmas, a group from the sessions visited Clarecastle Daycare Centre, where they entertained those attending on the day.   They also entertained the residents of Carrigoran Nursing Home, and, as it happened, it was on the day Dysart woman, Chrissie O'Gorman received an award from the Nursing Home for 25 years of service, and the group was treated highly on both occasions.

Social.

The local hurling and camogie clubs held a combined Social at Auburn Lodge Hotel on Sat night last, to celebrate their victories this year. It was a huge success, with a lovely meal, followed by presentations and ending with lively music, which had dancers out on the floor for hours.
The members of the Intermediate team were presented with their medals by Ger Loughnane and the Camogie Junior "B" Champions were presented with theirs by Brendan Bugler.  Paki Roughan, Intermediate Captain, also received the Paddy Browne Cup.
Michael O'Regan, recently elected Chairperson of Clare Camogie Board, along with his family presented a Cup to Clare Camogie Board for the Junior Championship, in memory of his late wife, Margaret, who was a staunch supporter of the G.A.A.  It was a great privilege for the local Camogie Club, when Brid McNamara, P.R.O. of Clare Camogie, presented this to Claire McDonnell, captain of the Junior Camogie team, the first winners of this Cup.
