Friends of Toonagh Hall + Sports Complex.
The facilities in Toonagh Hall and Sports Complex have been closed, as have all community centres, over the past few months, because of COVID 19. However, there are still costs involved in keeping the place maintained and insured, so that it will be ready when the restrictions are lifted.
The Committee has set up a Go Fund Me Page on its Facebook page and the community is encouraged to support it with a donation, however small, as it will be much appreciated.
It is also hoped to hold a Car Boot sale in the near future and people are asked to donate items for this.
Further information may be had from Pamela Vaughan (0876224698) or Mairead Culliney (0863620688).

Rescheduled Sacraments.
Confirmation for Toonagh schoolchildren will take place on Aug. 8 at 2pm. Confirmation for Ruan will take place on the same day at 11am. Both ceremonies will take place in Ruan Church. These are the rescheduled dates following the postponement of the Confirmation ceremony which was due to take place for both schools on Friday April 24th.
Ceremonies will adhere to social distance guidelines and for space reasons Toonagh First Holy Communion will also take place in Ruan Church.
The rescheduled dates for First Holy Communion are September 12th in Ruan Church, Toonagh NS at 11am and Ruan NS at 2pm.

Recent Death.
The death has taken place of Colin Barry, Newhall, Ennis, nephew of Pete Barry, Dysart.

Mass Times.
Fr. Pat and Fr. Damian would encourage those who are able, to attend weekday masses in Dysart on Wednesdays at 9.30am and Ruan on Thursday mornings,
also at 9.30am so that the numbers at masses at the weekend are manageable, keeping in mind social distancing.
