Two in a Row.

Well done to the Ruan boys who played Ennistymon in the u14 "D" final on Sat. last in Cusack Park.  They came out on top, on a scoreline of 2-5 to 1-3, making it their second time winning this final.   Captain, David Hehir, accepted the Shield from Chairman of Bord na nOg, Martin Reynolds.   Afterwards the team and their mentors were treated to a meal in The Grove.
Kevin McDonnell, Dermot McMahon,, Declan Haugh and Joe O'Donovan are the mentors of this team, and credit must be given to the time and effort they put into training the boys.

Tidy Village.

Ruan village,  and its environs, are looking splendid and the moment, and it is heartening to see that the efforts of all in the area, with the help of Rural Resource workers, is making such a difference.
It is hoped that people will continue to have pride in their own environment and keep up the good work.
