Camogie.
The u11 team competed in the semi finals of the Tulla u11 Tournament on Sat last in Division 1.  They played Clarecastle, Inagh/Kilnamona and Kilkishen.
In the u8 go-games hosted by Sixmilebridge, the girls played Sixmilebridge A and B and Truagh.
The Camogie Club hosted a very successfu Bingo Nite at Purcell's Bar, Ruan, recently.
It was a very enjoyable and fun night and the Club is indebted to all who contributed, sponsors, organisers and the hosts, Loretta and Kieran.

G.A.A. News.
Under 14A  Ruan/Corofin side had a great win over Clonlara last week.  This qualifies them for the semi final of the A Championship.  They now play Kilmaley on Fri. of this week.  The Ruan U14C team was defeated by a stronger Cratloe side in the quarter final last week.
This is a very young team, who have put in a great effort throughout the year.

Tidy Towns.
Adjudication in the Tidy Towns competition is ongoing.  Everyone in the community is urged to maintain all areas of the village and the approaching roads, and to be vigilant regarding weed and litter control and keeping their areas tidy.
