Camogie.
Our two Camogie Club representatives, Rebecca Crowe and Aoife Anderson, played with the Clare team which drew with Tipperary on Saturday. Their next outing is against Waterford in two weeks time.

Hurling.
Ruan Intermediates produced a strong performance, away, to Newmarket on Fergus on Saturday evening, winning by six points. They've now had two wins on the run and their last League game is in two weeks time against Clooney Quin.

Toonagh School Book.
Toonagh School Parents Association is putting together a book on Toonagh School and would like to include any photos or articles on its history and its achievements, including sport and music and participation in various activities over the years. If anyone has any photos or articles that they are willing to share, they may be emailed to Lourda Flanagan, Chairperson of the Parents Association at lourda.f@gmail.com, by the closing date of July 31. Further information may be also had by contacting Lourda by email.

Clothes Collection.
Toonagh School Parents Association also held a very successful clothes collection last week, where they raised €720. These funds will go towards maths and P.E. equipment for the children and some will also be used in the painting of a mural in the main yard, which, it is hoped will be finished before the summer holidays.

Recent Deaths.
The death has taken place of Mary Hogan (nee O'Loughlin), 'St. Anthony's' , Cloughleigh, Ennis, and formerly of Cooga, Ruan, wife of John Hogan. The death has also taken place of Teresa Fahy (nee O'Grady), Westbourne House, Burrin, Co. Clare, sister of Christy O'Grady, Larchill.
