250 Mile Cycle.

The cyclists on the 34th annual Clare 250 Mile Cycle will take to the roads around the county this weekend.
Anthony O'Halloran cycles to represent the parish this year and his supporters will have an opportunity on Saturday morning to show their support as they cycle through Ruan Village on the outward journey around 9.30a.m.   Michael Daffy, another Ruan man, is also cycling.
On Sunday night, on their return to Ennis, they will pass through the Dysart and Toonagh side of the parish, where they usually receive a great welcome.   Proceeds from the cycle go to fund the annual pilgrimage to Lourdes and the Clare 250 Cancer Centre, which is being built in Ballygriffey Woods.

Guests at Singers' Club.

Denise Whelan was guest singer at the Ennis Singers' Club in Cois na hAbhna on Friday night last.   She was joined by young singers and musicians who have been attending the Kitchen Sessions in Toonagh Hall over the winter months.
There was a great welcome for them and they thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Alzheimer's Tea Day.

The annual Alzheimer's Tea Day will be held in Toonagh Hall on this Thursday, 16th May, from 9.30a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
As all funds raised in Clare will be used within the County, the support of the community will be greatly appreciated.
