Halloween Party for Hospital.
The Halloween Party held in Toonagh Hall was a huge success and raised €1,095 for Temple Street Hospital.  Pamela Vaughan, who organised the event, hugely appreciates all the help she received, in sponsorship, preparing and clearing up the hall, providing games, etc and helping out on the night, at which the children had great fun.

Recent Death.
There was widespread shock and sadness last week at the sudden and unexpected death of Frank Cantillon, Soheen, Dysart, formerly of Ballyheigue, Co. Kerry.   Frank and his wife Ethna (O'Gorman) worked and lived in London for a number of years. They returned to Ireland and settled in  Soheen seventeen years ago, where they were busy rearing their family of four. Frank retained his love of Kerry football and has imbued this passion in his children, attending many of their games.
He was Senior Vice President Operational Controllership with G.E.C.A.S. - part of G.E. His no nonsense approach to any challenge always exemplified the right way to do things. His colleagues will remember him as a leader, teacher, mentor and friend.
Frank's remains reposed at St. Tola's Church, Dysart and, following concelebrated requiem mass, he was laid to rest in Dysart Graveyard, and the huge attendances on both days were evidence of the esteem in which Frank and his family are held.
Frank is survived by his wife Ethna, son Jamie, daughters Sarah, Emma & Abby, mother Eileen, father Francie, brothers T.J. and Keith, sisters in law, brothers in law, mother in law, extended family and friends.
