Minors into Final.
The amalgamation of a group of under 18 hurlers from Corofin and Ruan has proven to be a very successful venture. They are now into the hurling final of the Kerry Group U18 Minor A, having overcome Clonlara on Saturday.  The final will be played in Cusack Park on Sunday, before the Senior Hurling Championship game, and is looked forward to eagerly by all who have followed them through the summer.

Under 13’s Final.
Ruan under 13 hurling team won the Fr. McNamara Memorial Cup on Sunday, defeating Ennistymon in a very competitive game. This was a great finish to the season for the boys, their mentors and parents who support them.

Trad Music Sessions.
The informal group sessions for teenagers/adults have resumed in Ruan Community Centre on Sunday evenings from 7.30-8.30pm. Anyone wishing to play music with this group while learning new tunes is welcome. All music notes will be displayed making it easy for all ages. Further details from Mary at 0863149261.

Lay Led Liturgy.
Members of the local community will hold a Lay Led Liturgy in Dysart Church on Sunday at 10am. All are welcome.

Camogie.
The under 11 girls won the final of their tournament in Crusheen on Sunday, in Crusheen. Both teams showed great skill and passion and it bodes well for the future seeing so many girls happy to be involved in Camogie. Credit goes to parents and mentors who are behind the teams.
The under 16’s we’re defeated by Clooney/Quin at the weekend in the semi final played in Eire Og. They worked well to get to this stage and hopefully will continue next season.
