Under 15B Championship.
Ruan played Newmarket on Fergus in the under 15B championship in Ruan on Sunday. It was a very exciting game with the two teams having nothing between them at half time. Newmarket started well in the second half, going up by five points, however Ruan fought back with some lovely hurling and drew level again. Either team could have won coming up to the final whistle when Ruan had scored 17 points and Newmarket 1-14. Ten minutes a side extra time was played but that couldn’t separate the teams.
The game ended a draw, 1-20 each. There was some excellent hurling displayed by both teams and the replay will be in Newmarket on Sat next at 4p.m.

Camogie.
Ruan Junior camogie team lost out to Corofin in the final on Sunday, but the under 13 girls had a win over Doora Barefield in their final which led to great celebrations, also on Sunday.
Well done to all, girls, mentors and parents for putting in great effort throughout the year, attending training, transport to and from games and all that goes with keeping a club going
