Toonagh School

The Board of Management of Toonagh School has been working on securing funding, since January of this year, for refurbishments to the school and its application has been successful.  This resulted in funding being given by the Department of Education under the "Summer Work Scheme".  The project entailed the installation of a waste water treatment plant, internal and external painting and refurbishment to the grounds around the school, costing in excess of €60,000.
Most of the work has now been completed and the children will  return, on this Thursday, to fresh, bright classrooms, to begin their new term.  The Parents Association has also played its part and the Board of Management appreciates their continued support throughout the year.
