Cupid Strikes.
Claire Hayes, daughter of Joe & Anne Hayes of Kilkee East, Ruan married Kevin Corey, son of Delia & the late John Corey of Loughville, Ennis on Friday last in St. Mary's Church, Ruan.  Fr. Pat O'Neill was celebrant and  Bestman was Darren Lawlor, with Groomsmen Mike Hayes, Nick Turner and Colm Frawley.   Bridesmaids were Noelle Hayes, Caroline Hayes, Aisling Quirke and Claire Neylon. 
The bride's nieces, Lucia Hayes, Heather Daly-Hayes, Aoibhinn  & Sabhdh Hayes-Ryan, Isuelt Jordan and Claire Hayes were flowergirls and Pageboys were Laurence Hayes and Jack Gallagher. The reception was held in Dromoland Castle.

Hospice Coffee Morning.
A coffee morning will be held in Ruan Community Centre on Thurs. 15th Sept., next, from 9.30am to 12.30pm, joining with coffee mornings all over the country, in raising funds for the Hospice in their own areas.
Toonagh Parents Association will hold the Coffee morning in Toonagh Hall on the same date and same times.
All funds raised locally will go to support Cahercalla Hospice. The support of the community will be much appreciated.
