Senior Citizens Christmas Party: The annual senior citizens Christmas party will be held at Morty Kelly’s on Sunday 7th December.  Dinner will be served at 2 p.m. followed by music and dancing.

Christmas Sale of Work – goods needed

A Christmas sale of work will be held in Ruan on Sunday 7th December after 10 am Mass to raise much needed funds for the Tidy Towns and graveyards maintenance.  On sale will be timber, turf, cakes, Christmas flower arrangements & decorations. 2nd hand designer clothes, books, bric a brac – something for everybody.

Toonagh Hall & Sports Complex.

Now that the refurbishment and repair of Toonagh Hall & Sports Complex have been completed it is necessary to elect a committee to run the facility on an ongoing basis.

An A.G.M. will be held on Wed. 10th Dec. at 9 pm in the Hall and it is imperative that all individuals and groups who wish to use the Handball Alley, sports complex; hall and kitchen MUST attend, or send a representative, so that the facility can open for the use of the community.

Dromore Woods Walks Walks starting back in Dromore Woods every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, at 8.00 pm at the entrance to the Woods.  All levels welcome

Notice Fully qualified and experienced secondary school teacher available for all levels of grinds in both Junior and Leaving Certificate English. Grinds will be tailored to all individual’s needs. Comprehensive notes will be provided as well as homework, corrections and a detailed approach to answering exam questions. Group sessions available. A Family Fashion Show and Christmas Fair will be held at Treacy's West County Hotel on November 26th, in aid of Ennis Community College and Gaelcholáiste an Chláir. Top Clare models will feature fashions from local boutiques to include casual, designer, debs, suits, sports, bridal wear, communion and confirmation wear. Entertainment and spot prizes go leor. Over 30 stalls to view.
