100th Anniversary of the Ruan Barracks Raid This Sunday The Ruan/Dysart History Group will be holding a closed commemorative ceremony at the site of the R.I.C. Barracks where a plaque has been erected to commemorate the taking of the barracks 100 years ago for the fight for Irish Independence. 

The Ruan/Dysart History Group would like to thank all those involved in this commemoration.
