HALLOWEEN KITCHEN SESSION The Kitchen Session on Fri. 26th next, from 7  to 9 p.m. will have a Halloween "theme".   There will be surprises galore for the children, as well as the usual music, singing and dancing.  Children are asked to dress up in their fancy dress costumes and the usual €1 admission will apply.   All are welcome.

RUAN DYSART RESOURCE GROUPAGM will be held on Monday 22nd October at 8.00 pm in Ruan Community Hall.

ANAM CARA is a national voluntary organisation that provides bereavement support to parents after the death of their son or daughter. All on-line and face to face services are offered free of charge for a long as parents may need them. To raise funds to deliver these services, Anam Cara is organising a national bag pack on Saturday 3rd November 2012. Would you consider helping us out? CAMOGIE NEWS

Ruan Junior B ladies took on Feakle on Saturday last in the Final going in at half time 9pts down, on their return to 2nd half their spirits were high and the club earned a well deserved draw on a score line of Ruan 2-6 to Feakle 3-3. Replay this Saturday 20th at 12 Noon Eire Og Grounds.  U14 girls played their final game with semi final against Truagh/Clonlara in Shannon on Sunday last, the team put up a great performance and fought back well but Truagh/Clonlara came out as winners. 

The Camogie Shinty weekend of October 27-28 will mark the opening of Fr McNamara Memorial Park Doora by President Micheal D Higgins, the club underage teams will participate in parade through Ennis on the Saturday. Club officers meeting to be convened prior to this event.  Mary Hickey O’Brien

RUAN GAA NEWS:  

Minor Club News:  The Ruan/Corofin Under 15s played Doora/Barefield in Division B shield semi final on Sunday last. It was a well contested, sporting and exciting game and was all square 2 7 to 1 10 at full time and had to go to extra time and ended all level again 3 9 to 2 12. 

Replay in Eire Og pitch on Sunday 21st at 11am.  In the under 13 Clooney/Quin Division B semi final a very young Ruan team were beaten by Eire Og.  Susan Rice
