Decision on Underage Membership passed at Club AGM
It was decided to grant Family Membership to parents or Guardians and all juveniles (under 18 years) of the same family, together with one annual Lotto Ticket for €80.
The new annual membership will entitle members to participate in the weekly Lotto draw (Jackpot now €6,300) and they also will be exempt from payments for use of facilities in Toonagh or Lees Rd when they are used for organised club training. You must be a member of Ruan GAA to use the club facilities and to put your name in club draws and allocations for tickets for inter county Clare matches.
The Adult club membership is €20, Juvenile membership is €10 and Family membership is €80.
All families are encouraged to this new annual Lotto membership for €80 as the Lotto funds are the only funds available for the development of facilities in the hurling field. In 2014 we spent over €20,000 on improving the dressing rooms and shower area.
There will be a new walking track and floodlighting installed and safety fencing erected around the underage field in the coming year at a further cost of €25,000.
This is your GAA field, used by your children so please give your financial support to the ongoing developments there.
Ruan Registration Night 2015
Ruan Minor Club is holding its official registration
night in Ruan Hall on Friday February 6th at 7.00 p.m.
Boys from Under 6 to Under 18 along with
their parents are requested to attend. All players have to be registered in
order to train or play with the club for 2015. Refreshments will be served after to children and adults. Planned finishing time is 8.00 p.m.

Section 3: Adult Help

With over 100 playing members and teams from Under 6
to Under 18, the club needs significant adult help to assist throughout the
year. Areas where you could make a contribution include: helping with
training a team, fund raising, social events, photography, being an officer
on the club executive etc. If you are not already involved please indicate if
you are willing to help out in any capacity. Your contribution to Ruan Minor
Club will ultimately help your child’s welfare and development.
