Ruan GAA.
Ruan GAA Club will hold a Hurling and Camogie Registration night in Toonagh Hall Friday, February 2nd.  Registration for all Players (Adult and Underage) takes place from 7 to 8 pm. 
Medal presentations to the victorious Camogie U12, U13 and U14 Teams and to the U15C boys who won the County final will take place at 8pm sharp. 
The inaugural Janet Neilan memorial trophy will be presented to the U14 Feile Camogie Team,and Janet,  and her significant contribution to Ruan and Clare camogie will be remembered. 
There will be refreshments & party bags afterwards - donations of home baking will be much appreciated on the night.

Enrolment at Toonagh National School.
Toonagh National School is now accepting enrolment of Junior Infants for September 2018. Please contact the school on 065-6820143 or at toonaghschool@gmail.com.

Recent Deaths.
The deaths have taken place of Patrick (Paddy) Real, Thomondgate, Limerick, uncle of Fr. Pat O’Neill, Ruan;  Mrs. Eileen Dinan, Ennis, mother of Noel Dinan, Beechgrove, Toonagh and Josie Bowes (nee Lynch), Surrey, England and formerly of Gortaficka, Crusheen, sister of Micheal Lynch of Toormore, Ruan.

Blessing of Throats.
The traditional blessing of throats for the feast of St. Blaise will take place at Ruan mass on Sunday morning at 10am and at Dysart mass on Sunday evening at 7pm.  Candles for home and church use will also be blessed at both masses and anyone wishing to have candles blessed may leave them on the Altar.
