Bingo Nite for Hall.
It's "all systems go" for the first fundraiser to repair damage to Toonagh Hall & Sports Complex following the storm at Christmas.  A Bingo Nite will take place at Purcell's, Ruan on this Fri. night, 21st Feb. at 7.00p.m.  There will be lots of spot prizes on offer and finger food will be served on the night.   All support will be warmly welcomed.
Clothes Collection.
The second fundraiser for Toonagh Hall is a clothes collection on Thurs. 27th Feb., outside Toonagh Hall.   People will be on hand to take bags of clothes at 9a.m., 2p.m. 3p.m. and between 6-8p.m.  All types of clean clothing - towels, curtains, hats, belts, shoes, handbags, bed-linen (sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers) NO duvets or pillows please.  Bags are available in the porch of Dysart Church or black bin bags may be used.   Should anyone need bags to be collected, please contact Rose (0870610212) who will arrange collection. 
Adult Dancing Classes:
Maggie Hutten will return to Ruan Community Centre on Thursday nights, starting this Thurs. 20th Feb., at 8.30p.m.  Anyone wishing to learn waltzes, jives, quick-steps and set dancing is welcome.
The Clare G.A.A. Annual 2013 is now available and features a full colour spread on Ruan Minor and Senior Clubs, also a tribute to the late Jimmy Smyth.
Recent Death.
The death has taken place of Frank O'Dea late of Clarefield, Kilkee and formerly of Nooankeogh, Ruan.
